Addendum to the previous listserv

Hey all,

It's been suggested to me that the reminders in yesterday's listserv (about the DepARTmental Cup and the McGill Journal of Economiccs), could have used a little fleshing out, because they were brief and, in one case, even wrong (specifically, I gave the wrong email address for the journal). So, here is a more extensive and more definitive version of yesterday's reminders:

1.

The McGill Journal of Economics is now taking submissions. If you have a paper that you have written in economics for one of your classes at McGill and would like to submit it to be considered for our journal, please email us at mcgilleconjournal@gmail.com.

Note: submissions sent to esamcgill@gmail.com will not be considered.

Here is what you need to send in:

- your grade on the paper. You must have received at least an A-.

- the class you wrote it for and the course code

- the professor of the class

- send it in both a pdf and a word document

- 12 point font double spaced.

The deadline for submission is February 6^th at 6:00 pm.

Monday, January 30^th, will be your last day to sign up for the ESA’s AUS Departmental Cup team. The Departmental Cup takes place February 2^nd to February 5^th, the schedule of events can be found here:

To sign up you must pay $35 (in cash) if you are an Arts student, $55 if you are from another faculty.

Come to the ESA office on Monday, January 30^th from 10am to 2pm to sign up and pay your fee. The ESA office is in Leacock Building, main floor, Room 114A (Look behind the Snax station).
