Hello, my name is Casey West and I am the President of the Economics Students’ Association. My job on the ESA is to make sure things run smoothly so that all economics students can from benefit from our presence and the events we offer.
A little something about me: I’m from Flin Flon, Manitoba and I love brown sugar cinnamon poptarts with all my heart. I am also in my final year at McGill doing a Joint Honours Economics and Finance degree.
VP Finance - Jan Brand
I am in my final year, doing a Joint Honours in Economics & Finance. I used to work part time at Indigo Books, so make sure to hit me up for good book suggestions. I mostly read fiction and financial books, and some of my favorite authors are Nick Hornby, Joshua Ferris, Anthony Burgess, and George Orwell. I also play for the McGill intramural water polo team, and have played water polo and swam since I was 3 years old. For anyone who was at the Halloween apartment crawl last year, don’t fret….you’ll be getting another chance to see my chicken costume!

Ah, my beloved econ students! I am your VP Communications, so it's my role to update you and keep you informed about about what the ESA is doing, and also about economics at McGill. Make sure you read my listservs to stay on top of things! Oh, and since I'm talking about me, I love every kind of piano music. From Haydn to Keith Jarrett, as long as it's got a piano in it, I like it.

Hi! I'm Alex, and I'm the U2 Representative for the McGill ESA. Essentially, I act as the advocate for the interests of all U2 students in addition to providing course-planning advice and degree (Major/Minor/Honours) decision-making guidance to any U2 Economics student who'd like it!

As U1 Representative I am responsible for the special interests of students in their U1 year.
I'm a huge music fan, and have attended over 50 concerts in her short 19 years. My first big concert was Janet Jackson and Usher when I was 4 years old.

Hi fellow econ students, my name is Hannah Herman, and I'm the ESA's rep to the Arts Undergraduate Students Council. This means I represent your interests to the faculty wide student society. So please don't hesitate to let me know how you feel about a campus issue! Besides being your arts rep, I divide my time pretty evenly between thinking about econ, how to be employed next year and infinity which I find creepy. Feel free to email me if you have opinions on those subjects too!
